WHO ARE WE?
Invention Québec Inc. was founded in March 1972 under the federal program entitled “Initiatives locales” and the organization was known at the time as “Québec Innovation” funded by a grant from the Federal Department of Manpower and Immigration.On October 26, 1972, “Innovation Québec” became a non-profit organization within the meaning of the law of companies of the province of Quebec. The organization is now operating under the new corporate name of Invention Québec Inc. whose mission is to promote inventiveness.
Throughout these decades, the Invention Québec team has made its know-how and expertise available to individuals, entrepreneurs and managers of SMEs to protect their invention and creativity by offering them intellectual property services and accompanying them for the application, filing and obtaining of provisional patent, patent, industrial design, trademark or copyright, across Quebec and Canada with fees that defy competition.
More than 10,500 clients’ files have been handled by Invention Québec since its creation, to help Quebec and Canadian inventors prepare, file and obtain their provisional patents, patents, industrial designs, trademarks or copyright, throughout Quebec and Canada.
