Invention Quebec is 50 years old this year!

Invention Québec is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Founded in 1972 as part of the federal government’s “Local Initiatives” program, this non-profit organization’s mission is to support and promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the province. In other words, Innovation Québec has been supporting the inventiveness of Quebecers since its very beginning.
A recognized expertise in innovation
Since its creation, Invention Québec has supported and assisted numerous innovative projects and contributed to the economic development of Quebec. Over the years, Invention Québec has handled more than 10,500 client files to support Quebec and Canadian inventors in preparing, filing, and obtaining their provisional patents, patents, industrial designs, trademarks, or copyrights, throughout Quebec and Canada. Thanks to its expertise and its network of partners, the organization has helped many companies to launch themselves on the market, to develop new products or services and to ensure their growth.
Among Invention Québec’s most notable achievements over the past 50 years is its excellent service offering in intellectual property and its support for patent applications. Invention Québec’s expertise also extends to industrial designs, trademarks, and copyrights, throughout Quebec and Canada.
